Map MIDI note to sample

If the arrangement of MIDI note on Sound software differs from that on the digital drum, there are two ways to solve it.

Solution 1: adjust the MIDI note on your module.

  • Some digital drums support the modification of MIDI note. You can adjust the MIDI note and match it with the sample in the Sound software for each trigger.

  • For example, you can adjust the MIDI note through MIDI NOTE menu. (For further details, please check your owner’s manual.)

Solution 2: adjust the MIDI note in the software.

  • You can also map MIDI note on the Sound software. Follow the steps below and create your own Drum Maps.

  • Step 1: Open the “Drum Map Setup” window.

  • Step 2: Create a new map. In addition to the O-Note parameter, the Drum Map also contains an I-Note (input note) parameter, which allows you to set the input note triggered by your drum sets.
